Avengers #60, which is a tie into A.X.E.Judgment Day sees Clint Barton/Hawkeye named one of the most reputable members of the title team.

Avengers #60 by Mark Russell and Jay Leisten, Jay Leisten and David Curiel, VC’s Cory Petit sees Earth’s Mightiest Heroes being judged — Clint Barton/Hawkeye wins just fine.
This issue is a tie into “Judgment Day”, which saw a Celestial named as Progenitor give humanity 24 hours to prove it’s worth to avoid extermination. Avengers #60 opens Barton is confronted by Progenitor (Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow) for his judgment in a diner. Barton questions Progenitor’s standards of human judgment and walks away. The being follows Barton and tells him that he will be judged on his ability bring joy and meaning into a mailbox.
Barton intercepts William Cross/Crossfire every day and then interacts with other people. New York City mayor Luke Cage. Progenitor acknowledges, in the end, that right and wrong are often subjective. He also says that Barton has grown “which, apparently,” a mailbox can’t do. Barton succeeds, because he’s more than an inanimate blue mailbox. Progenitor, however, ends up determining that humanity is a whole failed its test.
What is Judgment Day, and How Does It Work?
Marvel’s biggest event of the season A.X.E.A.X.E. Druig, Druig started it off Prime EternalKrakoa was attacked by Krakoa, who attempted to eradicate mutantkind because of their genetic deviancy. Druig was stopped by the Avengers and some rogue Eternals who led to Druig awakening Progenitor. Things did not go according to plan and the Celestial began to judge humanity. Hawkeye is not the only one subject to such judgment. Amazing Spider-ManPeter Parker will be forced to face with Gwen StacyHis former love interest, who was killed by the Green Goblin’s actions.
Hawkeye was created by Stan Lee, Don Heck and debuted in 1964. Tales of Suspense #57 is an expert marksman. Hawkeye was originally a villain. But he quickly reformed and has remained an important hero in Marvel Universe ever since. He even became a member of several versions of the Avengers.
Marvel Comics has a new sale Avengers #60 features a main cover from Javier Garrón and David Curiel, with a variant by Nuri Durr. The next installment of the series is #60. Avengers #61 hits shelves Oct. 19.
